Village Cafe

Set back from the main drag in central Airlie, this handsomely timbered, open-sided cafe is known for its all-day breakfasts (the rösti with smoked salmon and poached eggs is top notch) and 'hot rock' cuisine, where diners cook their own meat and seafood on hot stone slabs. Beers and house wine are $5 during daily happy hour (2pm to 5pm).
