Trust YHA to provide a genuine alternative for young budget travellers to sordid hostels and inconvenient bush dumps. Central and reasonably quiet with a pool and ample kitchen facilities, this is arguably the best hostel in central Airlie, with six- and eight-bed en-suite dorms, plain but serviceable doubles and a family room, sleeping up to five.
