Ice cream and Darwin are a fine combination – it's always warm enough for one – and this terrific central place has nearly 50 flavours of fantastic gelato from which to choose. Otherwise, it's all kept simple – apart from the ice cream, the menu extends only to coffee, hot chocolate and Butterbing cookies.
