Mondi Lodge

Willemstad

On the outskirts of Willemstad, hidden among tangles of bougainvillea and hibiscus, is quaint, relaxed Mondi Lodge. There are just five thatched-roof villas and one excellent host and breakfast cook, whose grandparents once owned the property. Highlights include private outdoor showers and outdoor kitchens (one communal), and snorkel spots at four nearby beaches (gear provided). AC is available on request.

Three friendly dogs and the occasional donkey or rooster tend to wander the property.
