Hotel Dok

Northern Armenia

This hotel looks very intimidating as you enter and the staff don't speak English, but if you can get past that, the rooms are pretty nice. Doubles include a mini-fridge and there's lovely wallpaper above the beds. The white-tablecloth restaurant downstairs doesn't have a menu, which can be a challenge if you don't speak Russian or Armenian.

The hotel is located on a roundabout. Look for the 'Fur' sign, enter the small foyer, go through the left door and follow the stairs to the 1st-floor reception desk.
