It's not every day you have the chance to dine on French cuisine – prepared by Carmelite nuns from around the world – in small-town Argentina. L'Eau Vive is on the town outskirts, but many foodies consider the friendly restaurant worth a detour. Every evening and at Sunday lunchtime the nuns gather in the dining room to sing 'Ave Maria'. Reservations recommended.
Take a taxi from the center.
