Refugio Perito Moreno

Bariloche & the Lake District

Cascada Mallín Ahogado, a small waterfall on the Arroyo del Medio, is 10km north of El Bolsón, off RN 40, west of RN 258. Beyond the falls, a gravel road leads to Club Andino Piltriquitrón’s Refugio Perito Moreno, a great base for several outstanding hikes in summer and skiing in winter. The refugio has capacity for 80 people; meals are an additional AR$80.
