This enchanting pizza parlor with candlelit terrace and outdoor lounge is proud of being certified by the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana, Italy's standard-bearer for authentic Neapolitan-style pizzas. Soft-crust pies topped with imported Italian ingredients get their perfect tan in an imported mosaic-tiled 1650°F (900°C) wood-fired oven. The boxes the oven came in now form part of the cleverly upcycled interior decor.
The 30 pizza varieties include classics such as margherita and marinara, and specialties such as La Verace dotted with scamorza affumicata (smoked cow's-milk cheese), grape tomatoes and fresh basil. Owners Indra and Jürgen also hand-make their own pastas and seasonal gelato.
