Sadie’s by the Sea

'By the sea’ is the big drawcard here; this is one of the few places with a swimmable beach at its doorstep. Rooms are characterless in that midrange-hotel way, but are large and loaded with facilities. Shops, the harbour and other attractions are steps away. Other perks include the great on-site restaurant, Goat Island Cafe, and a well-stocked shop selling everything from souvenirs to booze.
